There should be a large, maybe 25mm, nut at the very top, in the camber plate. You might need an impact gun, unless you can get creative with a crowbar and some leverage.

Whenever I tear my coilovers apart, I use the crowbar method. Just wedge the bar between two of the camber plate studs, and place the entire coilover on the ground, with the tension agains the bar, then use the right socket/extension, and break the upper nut loose.

    REMOVING YOUR COLLARS

    1. Loosen the collar which you would like to remove, making sure it is free to be spun by hand. Do this with both if needed.

    2. Loosen the 2 17mm nuts holding the coilover to the front spindle assembly.

    3. Detach coilover from spindle assembly.

    4. Spin the coilover bracket (part which you've just detached from the spindle) until it is removed. Keep in the mind, the coilover body is threaded all the way down to the bottom, so it will unscrew all the way off.

    5. Now you can remove your collars by unscrewing them all the way to the bottom.

    REASSEMBLING YOUR COILOVER

    6. Now, unscrew the collar which holds your spring in place.

    7. Bring it down until the spring is no longer compressed. This is to ensure 0 preload. You should be able to slightly move the spring up and down over the shock body.

    8. Now, raise the collar until the spring is snug.

    9. You can now install the coilover bracket. Make sure you screw it on so that it is completely snug with the collar.

    10. Re-position coilover with the spindle.

    11. Put in and tighten the two 17mm bolts/nuts.

    You are done.

first drive around and let them settle... then you can work your way from there... at least that is what I did. I usually measure from the wheel/tire instead of the ground.

then get an alignment asap. lol

I usually measure teh distance from my wheel lip to my fender lip then keep adjusting til i get the ride height i want, lol.

i also used to count treads or measure the shock and the lower bracket then adjust.
