View Full Version : Boost Gauge and Turbo Timer install...

Just wondering if anyone here can help me install these two devices into my FC? Not as tech savvy as I wanna be but figured Id ask...pm me if possible and I'll be hittin up the Arcadia meet next Fri, might b able to discuss it then. Thx :P

What turbo timer? What boost guage?

GReddy TT and Apex boost gauge. Probably wont try it on my own because Ive never done it before...and Id hate to screw something up, would rather have someone just kinda help out who has more experience.

I can help with the boost guage, its really simple. Just pick up a plastic T fitting from Autozone and T-it into a vacuum line. The boost controller I dunno, never had to hook one up before. Does it come with a harness that plugs into the ECU? or does it need to be T'd into the stock ECU harness?

ED!!!! ill do both for a case for RED STRIPE!! i have all the apexi manuels and i can get the greddy one too..

I see, well that's cool bro. My apexi gauge comes with a T fitting and the turbo timer I think needs a specific adapter plug which corresponds with my ECU. Otherwise I think I was told the wiring on the Trbo Timer would have to be taken apart or something crazy like that...

Think im gonna go with Darkevil's offer and pic up some red strip for the homie :mrgreen:

Word!!! Thx man, I'll definitely make that happen I get paid next week Thurs so 1 case of red stripe and it's official. :D
